2016 Annual Bluefish & Striper Tournament

 

 


 
JULY 16th, 2016 at the Wianno Yacht Club in Osterville, MA.

This annual event starts with a fishing tournament in the morning and ends with an awards ceremony and banquet under a big tent overlooking Osterville bay! A competitive and fun event for local fishing enthusiasts, the tournament and its associated events engages anglers and their friends and families in a fun, worthwhile fundraising campaign to aid friends and neighbors in our community. All proceeds support Rotary of Osterville Good Works Fund.


The Fishing Tournament - 6:00am to 4:00pm
 
  • Entry Cost is $200.00 per boat
  • Entry cost includes Entrant, 2 anglers, 3 BBQ tickets, 1 captain's bag
  • Bluefish Open Category - $750 1st heaviest, $500 2nd heaviest
  • Bluefish Within Nantucket Sound - $750 1st heaviest, $500 2nd heaviest
  • Striper Open Category - $750 1st heaviest
  • Junior Bluefish Category (under 15 yrs old) - 1st, 2nd and 3rd heaviest receive plaques
  • Lines down at 6:00am
  • Weigh-in by 4:00pm at Wianno Yacht Club dock
  • Captains Meeting 5:30pm Friday July 15th at Osterville Anglers Club

  • Under the big tent at 5:00pm
  • Tournament trophies, plaques and cash prizes
  • Silent and live auction, 50/50 raffle
  • BBQ buffet, cash bar
