Rotary Clubs & Activities

Bluefish & Striper Tournament –  The Bluefish tournament is our largest fundraiser and is a fishing tournament barbeque and auction. This will be our eleventh year with this event. Click here for Bluefish Tournament information.

Osterville Rotary Van –  The Osterville Rotary's second largest annual fundraiser is the Rotary Food Van. Our van parks daily at Dowse Beach June 15th through September 5th selling soda, ice cream, hot dogs and pizza to the beach crowd.

Barnstable High School Interact Club –  Interact is a service organization for young people, ages 14-18 sponsored by a local Rotary club. Interactors develop and carry out a wide range of service projects from raising impressive sums of money for worthy causes to working directly with disabled children, the elderly, and others in the community who need help. Each Interact club carries out at least two service projects a year. One serves the school or community and the other furthers international understanding. Interact also assists their sponsoring Rotary club on various community service projects. Founded in 1962, Interact stands for International Action. The first club was established in Melbourne, Florida, but the movement quickly spread to many other parts of the world. Today it is a thriving organization with some 199,939 members in more than 8,693 clubs in 111 countries. The Osterville Rotary Club sponsors a club at the Barnstable High School in Hyannis. Our faculty advisor is Kate Sullivan and the club meets the first and third Tuesday of the month at 5:00pm room 1609 during the school year.

Halloween Parade –  We host a Halloween parade down Main Street Osterville ending at the Osterville Bay School for refreshments.

Valentines Day Party –  On or around Valentines Day we have a party at the Cape Regency nursing and rehabilitation center in Centerville. There is food and live music and the Barnstable high school interact club also helps with this event.
